Foreign Affairs Minister Receives French Ambassador

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, received, Monday in Nouakchott, the Ambassador of the French Republic accredited to Mauritania, HE Mr. Robert Moulie.

The Minister and the French diplomat reviewed the excellent relations between the two countries, explored ways to constantly strengthen them, and discussed other issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Ould Mahmoud, Ambassador, Director for Europe at the Directorate General in charge of bilateral cooperation at the Ministry.
