Minister of Economy and Finance receives the Head of Mission of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, received on Wednesday at his office in Nouakchott, a delegation from the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Zaabi accompanied by the economic and legal advisers of the same authority, respectively, Mr Nshant Sangui and Mr. Mohamed Val El Hassan.

The meeting discussed ways to raise agricultural production efficiency and optimize the use of resources, in order to achieve food sovereignty, through the introduction of new projects based on the re-preservation and export of products, the provision of small financing to farmers, in addition to the use of modern technologies in the agricultural field.

On the same occasion, they also reviewed the prospects for cooperation between our country and this Arab body, and ways to strengthen and develop this cooperation, especially in the economic fields.
