CALL FOR APPLICATION CHINGUITT PRIZE 2025

The Chinguetti Prize Council announced on Wednesday the opening of nominations for the 2025 Chinguetti Prize, which aims to honor outstanding research in the fields of Islamic studies, sciences and technologies, literature and arts.
Noticeable Dates.
Submission of Applications: from January 15th to March 31st,
Announcement :No latter than the 31st October
Prize Details:
financial grant of five hundred thousand new Ouguiyas.
honorary degree, a medal
Eligibility :
open to Mauritanian and foreign researchers, institutions of higher education and scientific research and cultural associations,
Applicants work or works must demonstrate significant creativity and originality in their respective fields
Applicants must fulfil the following condition during their application
A reqest duly signed by the by the candidate specifying the targeted fieldof application
A concise rsume of the candidate and possible recommendations
A detailed description specifying the methodology and relevance of the work presented
The work o rworks presentedmust be delivered in 8 copies
A sworn statement specifying that the file meets the the elegibility criteria
File Submission process
The application file must be submitted to the permanent secretariat of th ecouncil or sent by post , postmarked as proof sending date
