President of Republic Holds Talks with Sudan’s Chairman of Transitional Sovereignty Council

His Excellency the President of the Republic, the Chairman of the African Union, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, held private talks on Monday evening at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott with His Excellency the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the brotherly Republic of Sudan, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, who is visiting our country.

The meeting, which was later expanded to include the accompanying Mauritanian and Sudanese delegations, touched upon the importance of continuous consultation to enhance the level of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and ways to strengthen cooperation and push it towards broader horizons.
