President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers meets Bangladesh Ambassador

The President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers, Mohamed Zeine El Abidine Ould Cheikh Ahmed, met Wednesday at his office with Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Mauritania, Mohamed Zilkar Nain, who is accredited to Mauritania and resides in Algeria, HE Mohamed Zilkar Nain.

The meeting touched on the relations between Mauritania and the Republic of Bangladesh, especially in their economic and commercial aspects, and ways to promote partnership and exchanges between economic actors in the two countries.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers expressed his readiness to support and encourage everything that strengthens economic and trade relations between Mauritania and Bangladesh. He reviewed the investment opportunities available in our country, especially in promising sectors such as agriculture, livestock, fishing, minerals, energy and renewable energies, calling on Bangladeshi businessmen to invest in these sectors and benefit from the climate of stability in Mauritania and the encouragement provided by the investment code in this field.

For his part, the Bangladeshi Ambassador expressed his sincere thanks to the President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers for the opportunity to exchange information on the role that both parties can play in advancing economic and trade relations between the two countries.

In this regard, he reviewed the areas of interest and expressed his readiness to work on the development of these relations.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Secretary General of the Union, Mr. Cheikh Ould Bouassria.
