Mauritania participates in the Third Trade and Investment Forum between the United Kingdom and Francophone West and Central Africa

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Sid Ahmed Ould Bouh, participated on Wednesday in the sessions of the Third Trade and Investment Forum between the United Kingdom and Francophone West and Central Africa (WCAF III), organized from 3 to 5 December 2024 in London, United Kingdom.
During the opening ministerial session, the Minister presented Mauritania’s strategy and efforts to promote investment and revitalize the private sector. He also reviewed the ongoing economic reforms and the multiple and diverse investment opportunities offered by our country, which offers important incentives to investors.
A session titled “Focus on Mauritania” was hold with the presence of the Minister of Economy, the Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency of Mauritania, Aissata Lam, H.E. Gary Harrison, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Mauritania, and representatives of the private sector, to discuss investment opportunities in Mauritania, public-private partnerships and ways to enhance bilateral economic cooperation.
His Excellency the Minister of Economy and Finance responded to the questions and concerns of the audience, highlighting the competitive advantages of the promising Mauritanian market.
