Commissioner for Human Rights holds Talks with the Resident Representative of the United Nations System

The Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action and Relations with Civil Society, Mr. Sid Ahmed Bennan, held talks on Monday at the headquarters of the Office of the High Commissioner in Nouakchott with the Resident Representative of the United Nations system in Mauritania, Ms. Leila Peters Yahya.

The meeting touched on areas of cooperation between our country and this UN body, and ways to develop and strengthen it, especially in the areas of intervention of the Commission.

The meeting took place in the presence of Assistant Commissioner Rasoul Ould El Khal, some directors and advisers of the Office, and a representative of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Mauritania.
