Minister of Environment heads to Saudi Arabia

The Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Mrs. Massouda Mint Bahham Ould Mohamed Laghdaf left Nouakchott on Sunday evening for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to participate in the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties on combating desertification.

This session, organized by the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), will be held from December 3 to 12 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation from her sector.
