Economic Affairs Minister Holds Meeting with Sahel Coalition Roadmap Commitments Follow-Up Committee

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, met on Monday, with members of the Committee to follow-up on the commitments of the roadmap of the Sahel Coalition in view of the summit due to be held at the end of next month.

HE Mr. Giacomo Durazzo, Ambassador, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Mauritania, HE Mr. Robert Moulie, Ambassador of France, HE Mr. Jesus Santos Aguado, Ambassador of Spain, spokesperson for the Alliance of the Sahel, the resident representative of the World Bank in Mauritania, Ms. Christina Santos, took part in the meeting during which the level of progress in following up Mauritania’s commitments under the roadmap of the Coalition for Sahel has been reviewed.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry, the head of the National Committee for the Coordination of G5 Sahel Activities, focal points of the Ministries of Justice, Foreign Affairs, Defense, and the Interior, the Director General of Development Policies and Strategies, and the Director General of the Finance and Cooperation Department.
