Minister of Culture Receives Emirati Delegation

The Minister of Culture, Youth, Sports, and Relations with Parliament, Government Spokesman, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Dahi, received, on Monday, the Minister of Culture of the Government of Sharjah, Mr. Abdullah Mohamed Salem Laouissi, and the director of the culture department, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Qusayr.

The two sides discussed cultural relations between Mauritania and the United Arab Emirates represented by the Emirate of Sharjah, including funding for the Mauritanian National Theater Festival and the opening and funding of the House of Poetry.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry, Mr. Mohamed Abdallahi Salem Ahmedoua, the Director of Cultural Action, Mr. Ouleid Nass Ould El Kory Ould Henoune and the Director of the House of Poetry Mr. Abdallahi Ould Said.
