Mauritanian Pavilion opens at COP 29 in Baku

On Tuesday, The Mauritanian pavilion organized within the framework of our country’s participation in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties on Climate (COP) was inaugurated in Baku, Azerbaijan.
This pavilion aims to raise awareness about Mauritania’s capabilities in various fields, especially in the fields of renewable energies and various natural resources, and to draw the attention of participants in this global event to the level of vulnerability of our country to the negative effects of climate change.
The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties on Climate will continue until the 22nd of this month and will include round tables and meetings on specific approaches, as well as meetings with non-aligned countries, Africa and Arab countries to strengthen and coordinate their positions, in addition to the group of least developed countries to ensure the success of climate-related consultations.
