Foreign Affairs Ministry Organizes Lunch Party in Honor of African Delegations to Mauritania

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad organized, Tuesday in Nouakchott, under the supervision of its Secretary General, Ambassador Ahmed Ould Sidi Ahmed Ould Die, a lunch party in honor of the African diplomatic delegations accredited to our country on the occasion of the African Union Day.

Ambassador Abdelkader Ould Ahmedou, Legal advisor at the minister’s office and head of the steering committee of the diplomatic academy project, stated in a statement to the Mauritanian news agency (AMI) that the ministry was keen, during this ceremony, to show samples of local meals in several countries of the continent in the context of highlighting the African culinary culture.

It should be noted that Mauritania is considered among the founding countries of the Organization of African Unity in May 1963, which became known as the African Union in 2002.

The ceremony was attended by several advisors, officers in charge of special duties, and central directors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, and several invitees.
