Message from President of Republic to King of Morocco

A message from the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, to the King of Morocco, His Majesty Mohamed VI, was delivered Monday in Rabat, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, to the Moroccan Prime Minister, Mr. Saad Dine El Otmani.

During the meeting, the two parties reviewed the relations between the two brotherly countries and the ways and means to strengthen them.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad subsequently had a meeting with his Moroccan counterpart, Mr. Nasser Bourita.

The meeting was an opportunity for the two ministers to examine ways and means of strengthening fraternal relations between the two countries, in accordance with the political will expressed by the President of the Republic and his Majesty the King, during their last telephone talks.

The two ministers also addressed the preparations underway for the holding, before the end of the year, of the Joint Mauritania-Morocco Cooperation Committee.
At the end of the meeting, the two ministers highly appreciated, before the press, the level of relations between the two brotherly countries.
