Water Minister Holds talks with the Secretary-General of the Unwater Convention

The Minister of Water and Sanitation, Mrs. Amal mint Maouloud held talks in Ljubljana (Slovenia) with Mrs. Sonja Koeppel, Secretary-General of the United Nations Water Convention (Unwater), on the sidelines of the 10th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Waters and Shared Lakes.

The talks addressed the role of the Convention in the management of transboundary waters between countries, and the opportunities it offers to member states to enhance knowledge, management and protection of water resources, thereby contributing to achieving sustainable development.
