President of Republic Returns from Paris

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, returned to Nouakchott, Friday, from Paris at the end of an official visit, at the invitation of French President Emanuel Macron to participate in the summit on “Financing African Economies”.

His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani was greeted upon his arrival at Nouakchott Oumtounsy International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic; the Minister-Counsellor at the Presidency of the Republic; members of the government; the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic; the deputy director of the cabinet of the President of the Republic; the wali of Western Nouakchott and the vice-president of the region of Nouakchott.

The President of the Republic was accompanied by an important delegation comprising:

-Dr. Mariem Mint Dah, First Lady

-Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad

-Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, Minister of Economic Affairs and Productive Sectors

-Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lamine, Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic

-Mr. Ahmed Ould Bahiya, Ambassador of Mauritania to France

-Mr. Ahmed Ould Bahine, Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic

-Mr. El Hacen Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Protocol.
