Nouadhibou : Organization of Workshop on Border Crisis management

The works of a workshop on the procedures of border crisis management were launched today in the city of Nouadhibou. This event is organized by the ministry of the interior and decentralization in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration.

This workshop will enable the participants to exchange experiences and knowledge to address the challenges that face the border authorities in the regions of Dakhlet Nouadhibou and Tiris Zemmour.

In a speech on this occasion, the representative of the International Organization for Migration in our country, Mr. Boubacar Seybou, praised the effort made by the Mauritanian authorities in the field of the implementation of international laws and regulations related to migrants.

The workshop was attended by the governor of Tiris Zemmour, Mr. Isselmou Ould Sidi, and the administrative authorities of Dakhlet Nouadhibou and Tiris Zemmour.
