Foreign Minister Participates in Emergency Meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmed, participated Tuesday, via videoconference, in the emergency meeting of the council of Arab foreign ministers.

This session, which is chaired by the state of Qatar, is organized to discuss the Israeli crimes in the occupied Jerusalem and hostilities on worshippers.

In his speech, the minister affirmed Mauritania’s condemnation and rejection of all forms of violence against the steadfast Palestinian people, calling on the international community to take all necessary measures and arrangements that ensure the protection of the lives of our brothers in Jerusalem and their properties.

He reaffirmed Mauritania’s unwavering support to Palestine and its will to support the efforts aiming to find a fair and permanent solution to the Palestinian issue.
