UNA’s Director General discusses Aspects of Co-operation with the Director of the Russian TASS News Agency

The Director General of the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (UNA), Mohammed bin Abd Rabbo Al-Yami, met with the Director General of the Russian news agency “TASS”, Andrey Kondrashov, on the sidelines of the “BRICS Media Summit” held in the Russian capital Moscow during the period 13-17 September 2024.

During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between TASS and the Union within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation concluded between the two sides, which would enhance news exchange between the member news agencies of the Union and the media in Russia, and organize training programs for the benefit of media professionals in the OIC countries.
