Mauritania condemns the Assassination Attempt on the President of the Union of Comoros

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad has expressed its strong condemnation of the assassination attempt against HE President of the Union of Comoros, Mr Assoumani Azali.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Ministry affirmed Mauritania’s full solidarity with the Comoros against all acts that threaten its security and stability, wishing the President a speedy recovery and peace and prosperity for the Comorian people.
