Minister of Defense, Minister of Interior Examine Security measures taken in Nouakchott

The Minister of National Defense, Mr. Hanenna Ould Sidi, and Minister of the Interior and Decentralization, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, visited Sunday the three regions of Nouakchott to enquire about the general security situation.

This visit aims to closely monitor the progress of the security measures taken and the extent of their efficiency.

In a statement made to the Mauritanian News Agency, the Minister of the Interior and Decentralization, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, said that the goal of this visit is to evaluate the security measures taken in the three regions of Nouakchott and the new measures that have been added to the curfew.
