Foreign Minister Receives French Ambassador, Head of EU Delegation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, received, Friday in Nouakchott, HE Mr. Robert Moulie, Ambassador of France, and HE Mr. Giacomo Durazzo, Ambassador, Head of the Delegation of the European Union in Mauritania.

The meeting addressed the last visit made to our country by the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Mr. Josep Borrell, as well as the privileged relations existing between Mauritania and the European Union, the latest regional developments, and issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Fatou Hama, Ambassador, Director of European Union Affairs at the General Directorate of Multilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad.
