President-Elect Receives Congratulatory Message From Togolese President

On 15 July, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, president-elect, received a congratulatory message from HE Mr. Faure Essozimna GNASSINGBE, the President of the Republic of Togo, on the occasion of his re-election, in the first round, on 29 June, as president of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The message reads as follows:

“Mr President, dear brother,

The Mauritanian people have just reaffirmed their support for your policy and your various initiatives in favor of the development of your country by renewing their confidence in you during the presidential election of 29 June 2024.

On this happy occasion, it is a pleasure for me to send you my sincere wishes for success in the pursuit of your mission in the service of your people and the prosperity of Mauritania.

I assure you of my availability and my firm determination to work with you to continue strengthening the relations of solidarity and cooperation which so happily unite our two countries.
