President-Elect Receives Congratulatory Message From Rwandan President

On 15 July, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, president-elect, received a congratulatory message from HE Mr. Paul Kagame, the President of the Republic of Rwanda, on the occasion of his re-election in the first round, on 29 June, to the presidency of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The message reads as follows:

“Excellency, dear brother,

On behalf of the people and the government of the Republic of Rwanda and my behalf, I would like to convey to you my sincere congratulations following your re-election as President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

I am convinced that, during your second term as President, the excellent relations between Rwanda and Mauritania will be further strengthened in the mutual interest of our two countries.

I look forward to continuing to work with you in close collaboration to deepen our bilateral cooperation and advance our common African agenda.
