Mauritania elected as Member of Bureau of Francophone Parliamentary Assembly

Mauritania has been elected as a member of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie.

This came during the 49th session of the Francophone Parliamentary Assembly, which concluded its work on Wednesday in Montreal, Canada, in which the Mauritanian Parliament was represented by MP Sidney Dramaan Sokhna, a member of the Mauritanian section of the Francophone Parliamentary Assembly.

This election is part of the dynamic of parliamentary cooperation by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Mohamed Bamba Meguet, who has made the strengthening of parliamentary diplomacy one of the main axes of the National Assembly’s development strategy.
