Prime Minister Receives Special Envoy From Tanzanian President

On 11 July, in Nouakchott, the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Massoud, received Ms. Ummy Mwalimu,  the Tanzanian Minister of Health and special envoy of the Tanzanian President, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, to HE Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic.

At the end of the audience, the Tanzanian minister made the following statement to the Mauritanian news agency:

“First of all, let me thank the government of Mauritania for the warm reception since my arrival here in Nouakchott. My name’s Ummy Mwalimu. I’m the Minister of Health of the United Republic of Tanzania and the special envoy of Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania. I came here to Nouakchott to deliver a special message from Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan to the President of the Republic of Mauritania, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani. Basically, we came here to seek President Ghazouani’s support for the Tanzanian candidate for the WHO Regional Director for Africa.
