Senegalese Oil Minister Ends Visit to Mauritania

Senegalese Minister of Oil and Energy, Ms. Aïssatou Sophie Gladima left Nouakchott on Sunday after a working visit of several days to Mauritania.

During her stay in our country, the Minister attended, along with her Mauritanian counterpart Mr. Abdessalam Mohamed Saleh, Minister of Oil, Mines, and Energy, bilateral meetings periodically held by the monitoring committee of the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) gas project overlapping the two brotherly countries’ offshore waters.

Ms. Aïssatou Sophie Gladima was greeted upon her departure by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Oil, Mines, and Energy, Mr. Ethmane Tall.
