The candidate for the 2024 presidential elections, Mamadou Bocar Ba, launched his election campaign on Friday at 00:00 a.m. from the Alliance for Justice and Democracy (AJD) party headquarters in City Plage Square, Tafagh Zeina.
Speaking at a mass rally, the candidate said that the time has come to put an end to successive regimes and replace them with a system that achieves progress, happiness and prosperity, works to consolidate social cohesion and justice, and consolidates national unity among the various segments of the people without discrimination or exclusion.
Mr. Baa Mamadou Boukar pledged that once he is elected President of the Republic, he will work to establish the rule of law that all Mauritanians dream of.
The candidate then outlined his electoral program based on ten priorities, the most important of which are the promotion and officialization of national languages, access to land ownership, power and wealth sharing, consolidation of democracy, and strengthening social cohesion.
Finally, he urged his supporters to vote heavily on polling day.
The campaign launch also provided an opportunity to introduce the presidential candidate’s campaign team.
