Minister of Health Chairs Meeting with French, Spanish Ambassadors

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Mohamed Nadhirou Ould Hamed, chaired, Monday in Nouakchott, a meeting with the French and Spanish ambassadors to Mauritania, respectively HE Mr. Robert Moullie, and HE Mr. Jesus Santos Aguado.

The meeting dealt with evaluating the work of the medical teams that came to Mauritania from France and Spain during the second wave of COVID-19, and ways to improve resuscitation in national hospitals, in addition to developing areas of cooperation to serve the care and recovery systems at the level of the national health system.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of Systems Control, Organization, and Quality of Services and Treatments, the Director of the Specialty Hospital, the representative of the World Health Organization in Mauritania, and the two ambassadors’ assistants.
