Foreign Minister Receives Palestinian Ambassador

Minister of foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, received on Monday his Excellency Mr. Majid Ben Abdalla Ben Mohamed Hdeib, Ambassador of Palestine accredited to Mauritania.
The meetings was an opportunity to disscuss issues of common interests. The Minister reaffirmed the constant position of our country, in the support of palestinians’ rights to have an independent state with the holly Jerusalem as its capital in accordance with the UN resolutions and the Arab initiatiative for peace.
The meeting took place in the presence of M. Mohamed El Hanchi Ould El Kettab, Ambassador, general Director of the bilateral coperation, M. Oumar Mohamed Babou, Ambassador, Director in the bilateral cooperation department, and Ms. Aminetou Mint Sidi Mohamed, a manger in the same department.
