Omani Foreign Minister visits the Headquarters of the General Delegation of National Documents

On Tuesday morning in Nouakchott, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, accompanied by the Minister General of the Government, Mrs. Aissata Ba Yahya, paid a briefing visit to the headquarters of the General Delegation of National Documents, at the beginning of a working visit to our country.
The General Delegate of National Documents, Mr. Mohamed El Mokhtar Mohamed El Hadi, gave the Omani delegation a full explanation of Mauritania’s scientific, cultural and political history, and briefed them on the work system of the delegation and the most important tools and methods taken to safeguard the Mauritanian tangible and intangible heritage.
At the end of the visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, in a statement to the Mauritanian News Agency, praised the level of brotherly relations between the Sultanate and Mauritania.
He expressed his happiness with the positive and constructive cooperation between the Omani National Documents and Archives Authority and the General Delegation of Mauritanian National Documents, expressing his aspiration to strengthen the fraternal cooperation in this field.
The visit was attended by the Assistant Secretary-General of the Government, Mr. Mohamed Ishaq Sidi Lemine, the Ambassador of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mrs. Alia Mint Yahya Ould Menkouss, and the Ambassador of Mauritania to the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Vall Ould Abba.
On the Omani side, His Excellency Minister Plenipotentiary Mohammed Khadem bin Ashour, and the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to our country, His Excellency Mr. Cheikh Saif bin Hilal bin Ali Al Maamari.
