Prime Minister Visits Ministry of Trade

Prime Minister Mohamed Ould Bilal paid a visit, Monday morning, to the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Tourism.
The Prime Minister was greeted upon his arrival at the ministry by the Minister of Trade, Ms. Naha Mint Moukness, the secretary general of the ministry, the wali of West Nouakchott, the chairperson of the regional council of Nouakchott, the Hakem of the moughataa of Tevragh Zeina, and the mayor of its municipality.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Tourism made a statement in which she indicated that the present visit of the Prime Minister, the first of its kind, is part of a series of visits he is making to the government departments.

She indicated that at the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister gave his instructions to the personnel of the ministry insisting on the respect of the principles and behaviors that the State officials must take into consideration, while affirming that the personnel of her department comply with them.

The Minister also clarified that during his speech, the Prime Minister gave his directives to take stock of the action of the department.

Similarly, Ms. Naha Mint Moukness expressed her satisfaction with the level of achievements of her ministry in accordance with the commitments of the President of the Republic, while ensuring that the department of trade, industry, and tourism will work to achieve the general objectives that it set itself before the end of the current term and that it will spare no effort to achieve this end under the best conditions.

At the end of her statement, the minister thanked the officials of the ministry for their commitment to implement the Prime Minister’s instructions.

During this visit, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal was accompanied by the Minister Secretary General of the Government and the Director of Cabinet of the Prime Minister.
