Minister of National Defense holds Meetings in Brussels

The Minister of National Defence, Hanana Ould Sidi, met NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană on Tuesday morning, surrounded by his main staff, at the Alliance’s headquarters in Brussels, on the sidelines of his participation in the second edition of the Schuman Forum on Security and Defence (FSSD).
The meeting focused on military cooperation between Mauritania and NATO and ways to develop it
The Minister of National Defence also met with the Czech Minister of Defence, Jarna Sinochova, who was accompanied by her main colleagues at the Delegation of the Czech Republic to the European Union in Brussels
The meeting focused on the prospects of bilateral military cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop it.
On the Mauritanian side, the meeting took place in the presence of Colonel Sidi Mohamed Hamadi, Director of External Relations, Colonel Sidi Ahmed Khairi, Director of Rehabilitation and Reintegration Assistance, Colonel Thiadé Mangassouba, Head of the Coordination Office at the Ministry of National Defence, and Mr Hamdi Dah, Counsellor in charge of cooperation with NATO at the Mauritanian Embassy in Brussels.
