Human Rights Commissioner Meets With UN Secretary General’s Special Advisor

On 24 May, in New York, Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, held a working meeting with Ms. Alice Wairimu Nderitu, the UN Secretary General’s Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide.

The talks touched on cooperation between our country and the UN body and examined the significant progress made by Mauritania in protecting and promoting human rights.
