President of Nouakchott Region Meets with the President of the City of Lausanne and a Number of Development Partners

Yesterday, Wednesday, the President of the Regional Council of Nouakchott, Mrs. Fatimatou Abdel Malek, met with the President of the City of Lausanne, Mr. Gregoire Genoud, at the headquarters of the central headquarters of the municipality of Lausanne, within the framework of strengthening the partnership and cooperation that links the two cities.
The head of the region also held a technical meeting with the partners of the project to improve access to water and sanitation, which is jointly funded by the city of Lausanne, the Water Solidarity Program consisting of approximately fifty Swiss municipalities and French cities, and the International Association of Francophone Mayors, where the meeting touched on the mechanism for financing the next phase of the project, as he expressed. The partners are fully prepared to accompany him in his fourth phase.
