President of Republic and the Chairman of the African Union Hold Discussions with the President of the Transitional Period in Gabon

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Chairman of the African Union, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, held, this Thursday evening, at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott, a round of private discussions with his brother, His Excellency the President of the Transitional Phase in the Republic of Gabon, Head of State, General Brice Olégé Nguema.
The discussions dealt with the existing bilateral cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop and strengthen them in various fields.
The discussions then expanded to include the delegations of the two countries, as the Gabonese delegation included the Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Getty Rosatanga Regnawat, and the advisors to the Presidency of the Republic, François Ibotta, Cyric Anjoa Ondiba, and Colonel Olagoye Deskard Smith.
Our country’s delegation includes His Excellency the Minister in charge of the Office of the President of the Republic, Mr. Mokhtar Ajay, the Minister-Adviser in the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdallah Ould Othman, Mr. Haruna Traoré, in charge of a mission in the Presidency of the Republic, and Mr. Mohamed Ould Asouidat, Advisor in the Presidency of the Republic.
His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Al-Ghazouani, also held a luxurious dinner in honor of his guest, the head of the transitional period in Gabon, the head of state, General Brice Olégé Nguema, and his accompanying delegation.
