President of Republic Inaugurates Two CSA Central Stores in Kiffa

On 11 May, in Kiffa, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, supervised the inauguration of two central stores belonging to the Food Safety Commissioner (CSA) with a capacity of 30,000 tons.

The inauguration of these two stores is part of the project to strengthen the country’s storage capacity within the framework of which a network of 33 stores covering all the wilayas of the country is being built for a capacity of storage of nearly 135,000 tons, including two stores in Nouakchott with a storage capacity of 60,000 tons and one store in Rosso, with a capacity of 30,000 tons, which means that the storage capacity of the CSA has been increased by 107%.

After the inauguration of these two stores in the center of the country, the CSA will be able to meet the needs of the wilayas in the east and center of the country in terms of storage of food products thanks to these most important structures of their kind in the interior of the country, thus responding to the growing needs of state social programs.
