President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott From Kiffa

On 11 May, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, returned to Nouakchott from the town of Kiffa after a working and information visit during which he supervised the launch of some important development projects for the benefit of the populations.

The President of the Republic was welcomed upon his return to the Nouakchott Oumtounsi International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the

Republic, members of the government, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, the Wali of West Nouakchott, and the President of the Nouachott Regional Council.

During this visit, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani was accompanied by a large delegation including:

– Mrs. Mariem Vadel Dah, the First Lady;

– Mr. Moctar Ould Djay, the Minister in charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic;

– Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lamine, the Minister of Interior and Decentralization;

— Ms. Naha Mint Hamdi Ould Moukness, the Minister of Health;

– Mr. Memma Ould Beibatta Hmalla, the Minister of Agriculture;

– Mr. Ismail Ould Abdel Fettah, the Minister of Water and Sanitation.

– Mr. Hamoud Ould Mhamed, the General Delegate for National Solidarity and Fight Against Exclusion (TAAZOUR);

– Ms. Fatimetou Mint Mahfoudh Ould Khattri, the Commissioner for Food Safety;

– Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Ghaber, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic;

– Mr. El Houcein Ould Naji, a Legal Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic;

– Mr. El Hacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
