First Lady Supervises Launch of Grand Festival of Mauritanian Woman

The First Lady, Dr. Mariem Dah, supervised Saturday, at the conferences palace of Nouakchott, the ceremony of launching the grand festival of the Mauritanian woman.

This festival-the first of its kind- which is organized by a group of women that represents the entire national political and social spectrum, is launched under the slogan: ‘’we unite, we work, we succeed’’.

The festival aims to establish a national women assembly that serves as a national mechanism for empowering women and presenting all their problems to the concerned authorities.
