A partnership agreement was signed yesterday evening (Wednesday) at the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Handicrafts and Tourism in Nouakchott.
Under the new partnership agreement, which was overseen by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Handicrafts and Tourism, Amadou Hadj Gueye, and signed by the Director General of the National School of Hospitality and Tourism, Mohamedou Ould Zeine El Abidin, and the General Manager of CIS International Group, owned by CNA, Yannick Morion, the workers of the French company will benefit from training and training at the School of Hospitality and Tourism in Nouakchott.
In a speech on the occasion, Ould Zeine El Abidine expressed his satisfaction with this agreement, which he said reflects the level of success of his institution, despite its modernity, in gaining the trust of external partners due to the quality of its reputation based on the level of competence of its training staff.
He pointed out that the school is an embodiment of one of the axes of the President’s electoral program (My Pledges), in which he pledged to develop the tourism sector and work to attract investments and raise the level of services in this field, highlighting that the signing of the partnership agreement with the CNA will increase the school’s capabilities by bringing skills and exchanging experiences with this distinguished international partner.
For his part, the Director General of the French Group said that the School of Hotel and Tourism has proven its success in training many qualified and experienced people in the field of hotel and related services, noting that the signing of this partnership by his group, through its branch in Mauritania, will increase the efficiency of more than 700 of its employees within the framework of its partnership with its main customer in Mauritania, the Tasiast Mining Company.
He added that the partnership between CNA and the School of Hospitality and Tourism in Nouakchott will be an important milestone in the field of strengthening and developing the long-standing and distinguished friendly relations between Mauritania and France.
