My presence to this summit proves France support and solidarity with AFRICA, Sahel and Mauritania

French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his delight for the first trip out of Europe since the pandemic COVID 19 that hit the world. He said that he respects the deals of the PAU Summit six months ago between France and the African continent, Sahel and Mauritania.
The goal of my trip is to enforce the support of France in the fight against the pandemic of COVID 19 to African countries.
France had an initiative with its G20 partners that I discussed with president of Mauritania convincing them to help African countries in their fight against the corona virus pandemic.
We also informed the African union and the G20 countries about the need for tests and treatments doses when available.
Our objectives are to help in the process of canceling African countries debts for the first time in the history of the G20 and China.
Such an imitative is our main goal and that is why I visit the G5 Sahel summit today.
This Sahel region is been and still is a hub for terrorists which justify the presence of French army following the request of the latter governments
we will be viewing and assessing the progress made during the last six months in our meeting in PAU in the fight against terrorism and G5 Sahel army alliance.
we had conducted successful military operations that led to eradicate and kill terrorists leaders in the region and that is due through sharing and gathering of intelligence between us for the sake of the region stability and security.
These efforts will not stop and it is France here delivering a message of solidarity and commitment in its help for these countries in their fight against the terrorism and the COVID 19 pandemic.
Thus expressing I wish I carry now since three years that France is ready and the European Union too to assist you in these problems.
We will be having shortly a meeting through video conference with the Spanish government president PEDRO SANCHEZ, German chancellor ANGELA MERKEL, the Italian consul president, European union leader which I met yesterday in Germany about these subjects.
It is also a will that we will be focusing on achieving in the future to Europeanize the fight against terrorism in the Sahel region by manifest of help and support from Europe to Africa.
