Minister of Economy Holds Talks with MCC CEO

The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, held on Tuesday a working session with the CEO of the United States Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Mrs. Alice Albright.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance the economic growth of our country through the grant programs provided by the American Foundation with the aim of reducing poverty in the targeted countries.
The two sides also reviewed the progress made in our country in the field of good governance, anti-corruption, respect for human rights and democracy, which constitute the criteria for benefiting from the support provided by the institution.
