Minister of Economy Holds a Meeting with the Vice President of the World Bank

The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, met on Tuesday in Washington with the Vice President of the World Bank, Ousmane  Diagana, on the sidelines of the Spring 2024 meetings organized by the Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund.

During the meeting, they reviewed the status of the portfolio of projects financed by the Bank for our country, where the two parties stressed the improvement observed in the level of implementation of these projects with the need to redouble efforts to accelerate this implementation and develop its efficiency.

The meeting was attended by the Resident Representative of the World Bank in our country, Ms. Isabel Santos, and the Director General of Finance and Economic Cooperation, Mr. Mohamed Salem Nani.
