Minister of Social Action Heads to Rabat to Participate in a Seminar on the Reality of Girls and Women in the Field of Education

The Minister of Social Action, Childhood and Family, Savia Mint N’tahah, left Nouakchott on Monday morning for the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

The Minister will participate in the work of the scientific symposium on the reality of girls’ education in the Arab and Islamic world, hosted by Rabat, from April 17 to 19.

The seminar, organized in cooperation between the Arab Women Organization and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), aims to clarify the reality of girls and women in the field of education, provide the necessary knowledge and tools and enhance cooperation with stakeholders in the field of girls’ education, in addition to consulting with policy makers and decision-makers from regional partners, in order to establish a strategic database to formulate a comprehensive regional agenda for girls’ right to education.
