The Islamic Republic of Mauritania condemned the Israeli air strikeout of the Iranian
consulate in the Syrian capital Damascus.
This came in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians
Abroad on Wednesday, a copy of which was received by the Mauritanian News Agency,
which reads as follows:
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad has received with

consular premises. The Ministry, while condemning this heinous targeting, reaffirms the

accordance with the relevant requirements of international law”.
