On 2 April, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, the Minister of Interior and Decentralization, met with HE Mr. Lopez Aquilar Juan Fernando, the President of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice, and Home Affairs of the European Commission.
The talks focused on the areas of cooperation between our country and the EU Commission and the means of developing them, particularly in the areas of responsibility of the Department of Interior and Decentralization.
This meeting is part of the three-day visit currently being made by the Chairman of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice, and Home Affairs of the European Commission to our country at the head of a delegation of his institution.
