The Minister of Culture Oversees the Commemoration of the International Day of the Francophonie

The Minister of Culture, Youth, Sports and Relations with Parliament, Mr. Ahmed Sid Ahmed Die, accompanied by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Niang Mamadou, supervised a ceremony organized by the National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, Wednesday in Nouakchott, in commemoration of the International Day of La Francophonie, organized this year under the slogan “We create, innovate, and initiate in French”.

World French Language Day is a day of communication between all OIF member states, celebrating the language they share, emphasizing the common principles and values of solidarity, diversity and tolerance.
