Togolese President Leaves Nouakchott

His Excellency Mr. Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe, the President of Togo, left Nouakchott on 15 January at the end of a one-day friendly and working visit to Mauritania.

His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, greeted the Togolese host upon his departure from Nouakchott Oumtounsi International Airport. He was accompanied by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud, the Speaker of the National Assembly, the President of the Constitutional Council, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister in charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, the Chiefs of Staff of the Armed and Security Forces, the Chief of the Special Staff of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Nouakchott-West, and the President of the Region of Nouakchott.

After listening to the Togolese and Mauritanian national anthems and reviewing units that came to pay honor, the Togolese President greeted members of the government, high-ranking personalities of the State, and members of the diplomatic corps in Mauritania.
