Mauritania, OIC Independent Human Rights Commission Discuss Areas of Cooperation

On 10 January, in Nouakchott, Mr. Ahmed Salem Ould Khtour, an Officer in Charge of Special Duties at the Commission for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society (CDHAHRSC), Acting Deputy Commissioner, held a meeting with a delegation from the Permanent Independent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), led by the Executive Director of this body, Professor Noura bint Zaid bin Mubarak al-Rashoud, Advisor to the Secretary General of the OIC for human rights.

The meeting focused on areas of cooperation between the CDHAHRSC and this body and ways to enhance it to serve common interests in protecting and promoting human rights.
