Gambian President Concludes Visit to Mauritania

On 10 January, Gambian President, His Excellency Mr. Adama Barrow, and his wife, Fatima Ba Barrow, left Nouakchott at the end of their visit to Mauritania, during which they participated in the activities of the fourth edition of the African Conference for Promoting Peace.

The Gambian President was greeted upon his departure from the Nouakchott ”Oumtounsy” International Airport by the Prime Minister Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messoud, the Ministers of Justice, Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, National Defense, Interior and Decentralization, the Minister Secretary General of Government, the Director of Cabinet of the Prime Minister, the Wali of Nouakchott-West, the President of the Nouakchott region, and the Ambassador of Gambia to Mauritania.

The Gambian guest was also greeted by a delegation from the general secretariat of the Forum for Promoting Peace and members of the Gambian community residing in Mauritania.
