President of Republic Receives Commander of French Barkhane Forces in Mali

Nouakchott, 23 Sept 2020 (AMI) – The President of the Republic, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazwani, received, Wednesday at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott, Major General Marc Conruyt, commander of the French Barkhane forces in Mali, who is currently visiting Mauritania.
The talks dealt with the situation in the Sahel region and issues of common concern.
